The correct threading of the rope through the pulleys is key. By doing so, you enhance efficiency, reduce wear, and ensure the longevity of your equipment.
Follow the following steps to correctly thread the rope through the pulleys of the sail and the E-Xtension.
- Startposition: the rope exits on the bottom of pulley: M.
- Route the rope to the back of the left, sail pulley and pull it through.
- From the top of the left pulley the front of pulley: D and loop it through.
- The rope is pulled to the top of the middle pulley on the sail.
- Once looped through you go from the rear of the middle pulley to the front of pulley: A on the base and push it through.
- The final step is to loop it through the back of the final sail pulley and route the rope through the clamcleat.
If done correctly you should have pulley system like on the picture below:
